Why do I smell a witch hunt here. Some people not content with getting rid of Banjax eh. Are you now tring to get rid of Nickbat to ?

Who will be next ?

 :( :(
Not at all. As said previously.

Never agreed with what happened with Banjax. He didn't brake the rules. But he was an irritant, no doubt about it.
He could have been a bit more.... positive?

We could all be like DLK?... :D the mind boggles (sorry m8)
:y :y :y Nickbat....take note of Hotel21 or do as I do....Just put your finger up at those who cannot accept that we are all different and have different points of view. At the end of the day if they do not like what you post they always have the option of just not making a comment or not reading it in the first place. Otherwise the only conclusion that can be drawn is that those who make the adverse comments believe that they should dictate the views of the majority. How pathetic is that?
Keep on posting m8 cos at least you have a very varied topic base with a bit of interest for all.
I get rapped too but I only laugh at the idealism displayed by them cos by far the majority are not above criticism themselves whoever they are. None of us are perfect, but far too many are far too quick to jump on the 'high and mightier than you' pedastal.
Bet I get a bum smack for that..... ;)

No, keep posting Nick.

Sadly the vast majority of people are sheep. I am not being horrible when I say that it is just a fact of life. Governments like it that way as it makes life easy for them having 60 million drones quietly going about their lives (paying taxes) not questioning anything but just accepting what is thrown their way.

We need more people to question what is going on. Without the "grubby Greenham Common " protesters, I have no doubt at all that Britain would have been even now a nuclear missile island for the Americans.

When I joined this forum, I thought green energy was the way to go and still broadly do (wave energy - how good would that be!), wind turbines looked good.

However mostly down to Nicks posts and links, I have changed my view and realised what a giant con they are - particularly the subsidies to get them off the ground in the first place and alternate generators that need to be in place for when there is no wind.

Keep posting Nick. After all no one is forcing folk to read your posts or add to them. :y

Nothing wrong with a ride range of subjects, keeps GC going.

If there was no GC, a lot of us would only come here if something went wrong.

As member no 7 this is my main forum.

As to Nick boring, does he drive a TBM? ;D ;D

Whilst I don't tend to read most of the OPs threads as I find the subject matter a bit samey and has been done to death, he is quite within his right to post and debate his points of view. I'm sure others enjoy joining in.

He tends to put good titles, so like me, people can chose to skip them if not their cup of tea.

I take chrisgixers point earlier in this thread that it would be nice to see nickbat come out to play on other subjects. It's clear from a few of his non political threads that his sense of fun makes him a nice guy to have here, although I have never met him

I remember having a bit of a pop at you a while ago but i do that sometimes then regret it. That's a trait of mine & i hold my hands up. i'm trying to be nicer lately which could be equally as boring!!!

I did'nt vote but would have said no. There's a place for all folk here which makes the forum what it is. we need a balance of childish & deep of thought...i know which category i fall into!...but i do read some of your posts so carry on old mate. We all have the choice to read or not! Guy. :y

I have so many people turn up at the door, I do forget  :-[.  If I bumped into you again, you'd probably get one of those stares that means "I know you from somewhere" ;D
