i worked up in edinburgh for 2 months over the festive period. loved it. xmas market was fantastic. also on the royal mile there is a flight of cobbled stairs down to the parelell road with the quaintest pub ive ever be in if you like your pubs 

ps congrats to argentina today beating the old enemy in the RWC. great viewing

the wallace monument in stirling, and indeed stirling castle are both well worth a visit. and as you head south on the way home pop into my home town of dumfries.....and take me with you!!!!
