due to circumstances beyond my control the 4 people that where coming with me have dropped out. is there anybody who would want to share a static caravan with an irish man? or if theres someone else who wants to go with a family and wants the static please feel free to take it and ill miss it out. but i do want to still go. thankfully i hadn't booked the boat yet.

What a shame this is....
If there is anyone that fancies going to the lakes but doesn't like Tents maybe this is an option?
Rather expensie for just you on your own mate :(

Chances are you will only really need a roll mat and a sleeping bag, TBH.  Probably room in a tent somewhere for you to doss down, if you don't have one ...   ;)

I can't make it until Saturday afternoon so I will be another 'norman in the corner' and like you I usually drag my pikey wagon but for one night I will be under canvas too.

Daz, I've been thinking about this...I'd love to make it. However, I need until about midday tomorrow to clear what I was meant to be doing on the 18th and 19th. Is it too late for me to express an interest? I don't want to mess up your planning. I also don't have a tent either  ;D
Sleeping in the car is fine with me, I've done it before  :y

I need to pick Mrs TheBoy up from Gaydon at noon, so should be there by around 4-5ish, depending on Friday afternoon traffic.
