Can't you get Terry to follow you with the tools in his Capri? ;D

I can bring a selection of tools. Having said that I've managed to knacker my back somehow yesterday. It's bloody contagious. I wouldn't mind if I'd actually done anything other than eat a ruddy great roast dinner and sit around. >:(

You can stay the break away from my tab!  >:( >:( >:( ;D

The beer in the bar is very very cheap, typically a pound something for a beer and 60-70p for a shot.   Plus we wont be able to bring in your own stuff to drink

I had a look for my specialist gearbox filling device and it's not in the garage. Then I vaguely remembered lending it to someone - about 2 years ago. ::)

.. so if anyone sees a cheap killaspray in Aldi/Lidl, etc... :y

.. and to remind me more than anything else:

Diff pinion oil seal, if feeling brave, otherwise top up diff oil ;D
Relocate Lambda sensors / try "anti-fouler" solution.

I got hold of one of these VERY cheaply a few years back:
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/26c-paraffin-spray-gun/path/air-line-equipment-air-hose

Never got the chance to try it out though! :D

Fill that up with ATF and I'm going to be out of there! ;D

Should keep Vidal Sassoon in business for a while. :D

I've got one but it's a bit mankey inside... Might have a go at cleaning it out when I get a chance

My last one was about a fiver from Aldi/Lidl, IIRC. Take off the spray lance and replace with a bit of microbore tube with a hook shape at one end and job's a good'un. :y 'til I lent it to someone. ::)

As it only cost a couple of quid (literally!), my plan was to remove the nozzle, and fit say a metre of flexible tubing in lieu, then suitably reduce the air line pressure.

Would've obviously 'experimented' out in the open by trying it out with a suitable container first!

I have one exactly the same. Whilst it's great for cleaning things, the problem with using it as a gearbox filler will be that the fluid is drawn out of the pot by the air passing through a venturi, so it will always throw out an atomised mixture of fluid and air.

A killaspray, on the other hand, uses air pressure to force fluid out of the reservoir up the lance where it's atomised by the nozzle. Remove the nozzle and they just deliver fluid. ;)

Point taken Sir .......

When I get a chance, I might just try using the paraffin gun with some Jizer degreasant - and see how it goes!
I'm guessing that it'll be fit for that purpose ;)
