What to pay for parts car
« on: 22 August 2009, 13:40:17 »

Rang round a few scrappies this week looking for the elusive z147 facelift rear bumper, by chance a guy who was just passing the office overheard and has a w reg 2.5 in z147 in his garden, apparently has a misfire that he can't be bothered to fix and will sell me the bumper.

Thing is I could do with a couple of doors and a cat so might make an offer on the whole thing, how much would you pay ?

Yeah, a big note should do it.

If the parts you want are in really good nick, go to a ton and a half.

Swap the parts over, fix the misfire, sell the car as a runner needing work!

It depends on the spec of the car really, the better the spec the more you can sell off it. I would pay about £300 to £350 ;)

What the car is worth in reality is irrelevant, it's what it's worth to you in the long run that matters.
