I was surprised to learn from the advert that Doncaster had an airport. :o

Now called Robin Hood Airport, used to be called RAF Finningley ... and was the home of the Nav School and AEE&LS, spent 3 years teaching there way back in the 80's !!

Now for the stupidity ..... the Labour Government forced the RAF to close the place as they said the runway was "at risk" due to extensive coal mining tunnels that were found to be below it...... so we moved out despite having just spent an awful lot of money on new buildings and some very specialised equipment ... 2 years later Donny Council open it as a commercial airport using exactly the same runway !!!

... makes you wonder .....  :(
