Cost of Geometry
« on: 24 August 2009, 18:50:55 »

How much would I be looking at for a session at WIM?

They seem to come so highly recommended and seem to do full geometry rather than just tracking so thought it may be worth giving them a go.

don't forget your travel expenses! while WIM do come recommended, similar laser alignment tools can be found in many crash repair centres.

Its if the idiots controlling it know how to use it - just making it 'go green' on the Omega is a guaranteed way to knacker your front tyres....

Ring WIM, or PM user Tony on their forum at www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk (or wheels-inmotion here, but he is more likely to be on his own forum if you want a quick answer).

You will need to book.

WIM is £60 + VAT.

If they don't get it quite right the first time, Tony is more than happy to tweak things FOC until you are happy.

Just booked mine into WIM for this Friday at midday, it is £60 plus the dreaded VAT for OOF members - will plusgas the adjusters tomorrow, I don't think the geometry is out but the slightly off-centre steering wheel needs sorting out lol.
