Yeah that did cross my mind and I do wonder if he may have had a few too many beers and didn't want to do anything that might have involved the police. :-/
He's actually a really nice bloke and I've known him for many years but that doesn't excuse him from leaving the scene of an accident or possibly drink driving. At least he's gone out of his way to get it sorted out now and even insisted on having a night out at his expense sometime.
The good thing is that the pub has excellent all round colour CCTV so there's no way he would have got away with it and I'm sure he would have been aware of that.

He can't know you that well Bob, thats going to cost him more than the car repair and the possibilty of a sore bum in the morning ;D

That's a real shame Bob as i think that yours is the best estate I've seen including the colour but I'm sure you'll have it back to looking great soon :y.

How your mate says he didn't know he hit it is a bit of a tall one if you ask me unless as you say he was one over the nine in which case it could have been a lot worse :o.

You're so lucky you found out who did it - 99 times out of 100 this would be impossible  :y :y

Glad it's being sorted, it's a fantastic looking car

Hi Bob. That's a new wing without question if it's to be done properly, you could fill it but it'd never be right & why should you? Regarding the body mods as you've declared them i believe as already said the car has to be put back as it was including aftermarket parts. Beware of high quotes for scourcing & painting/fitting expensive Irmscher parts. Most ins. cos. will only accept quotes from main dealers or pricey spray shops as it's cheaper for them to pay you out on a financial write off. The spoiler looks repairable.
Wish you were nearer mate, we could sort this. :y

was praying it wasn't the body kit when i saw the title. Lmf seem to be the only source for new irmscher b kit left for the Omega, and they are often out of stock. But would seem repairable from the pics.
Hope it gets sorted.

Yep he is pretty lucky. I had already reported it to the police on Saturday when I picked my car up. Went back on Sunday and told them that the culprit had made contact and all was being sorted out through his insurance. They seemed happy with that and binned the report.
