Vectra 2.2 dti ('00)
« on: 26 September 2009, 21:17:22 »

My mate has a Vectra 2.2 DTI manual estate that runs fine for 2-3 miles then EML comes on and it looses power. If it then stalls it takes a few minutes to start after that.

Crank sensor changed but no better.

Any ideas ?

Aye, that's what I've advise him too.
Veccie dti can't be paper clipped apparently, so he's gonna have to part with some filthy lucra then.

Hi, ask him to take the air intake pipes off and check for oil on the sensor - mine leaks oil onto this and after 5-6 weeks I have to stripe it down and clean it all out - if I don't , turbo shuts down, no power and it limps. But after a good clean its like brand new again. Regards

Not sure on the filter changes, but will mention that that to him.

As for the pump, he's got fingers, toes...and everything else crossed that it's not.  ;D
