ref polish/wax

hi guys whats the best polish to use on a silver car   one that doesnt mark the rubber trims and doesnt leave the white dust

I got some turtle wax stuff off ebay worked a hell of a lot better than Auto Glym did on the BM and it was only 2 quid off ebay :y

Same with me ,going old school with Turtle wax over the past few months and has been working well.  :y :y :y

Get some Autoglym Super Resin, usually find it for a fiver a bottle at car boot sales. Then slap some Collinite 476S over the top, you'll not have to do anything but wash it for six months, it lasts that long and looks terrific :y

the chemical compound in most good quality carnauba waxes  will do that.. otherwise cant protect the paint and fill the minor scratches.. :-/

Although some will not do that I found them hard to apply like liquid hard wax (painters rarely use) and not satisfying..

Better approach is first use some plastic polish on rubber parts and use some paper bandage to protect them..

I have used a German product called Klasse All in One along with Klasse High Gloss Sealant on my silver Elite for a couple of years now. It is acrylic and will not stain any trim with white marks or dust etc. Very easy to apply and I find it only needs about one application a year. Bit pricey but you do not need very much of either.

Turtle wax ice.
Lights, plastic trim, window rubbers etc
No residue or anything.
Used it on the Mazda, piece of piss and with great results.
