My eldest has just bought one of these a K-reg, 1.8 V6 24V anyone know much about these and if there is anything to look out for? Looks a very tidy little motor and only 50,000 miles  :y

I've seen a couple of these with head gasket problems amongst friends who've had them so a reminder to keep on top of servicing, especially coolant changes.

Lots of fiddly vacuum pipes like the Omega so worth checking it's all present and correct with no bodges.

Of the very limited experience I've had of them, they seem nice engines. A bit oddball perhaps but V6 sound and reasonably smooth for 4 pot running costs. :y

Almost! Even though its small in capacity, it is still 6 cylinders, and can guzzle fuel like it.

Good wee engine, but get the timing belt and tensioners done asap.

Rust can take hold easily and quickly too!

Good stuff had a drive earlier, sweet little car drives like a 50k car too tight as a drum. Will ask him about the timing belt and when it was last done etc, not bad for £600 and no rust what so ever  :y
