They were complete mares to balance ... has some on the Cortina had to set them up on a weekly basis ... those were the days .. :)

AHHH! never had those myself, but looks to be a blast to whoever had them under the bonnet  :D

Nice looking car,but a bit too big and heavy imo.The Strombergs were standard fitment - crap imo,best to sling them in the bin and stick a pair of twin 48 dellortos or webers on. :y

I had the same clocks in my Viva, 8-)
But I dont like the look of the timing belt, hoses to close and not protected at all, looks a bit dangerous imho :-/

But a zillion times better than the SU's......and they held thier tune unlike SU's!

Sadly, they fell out of favour as the SU's had more bits available for them

I should add, I would probably give a left testical for a car like that.....and to me, a much betetr motor than the likes of the Escort RS's and Crapi's
