A frames

Wanting to buy an a-frame -- doesn't need to be heavy duty, only for pulling a kit car around.

Been told variously: all chain is best ...all strap is best ... strap & chain is best !!!!  Naturally each claim supports whatever the guy is selling.

Which do you guys think is better ?

I've only ever used the mixed strap/chain types and never had a problem with them.

I will say though.... when you buy one take each bolt out and turn them all up the other way! You'll see what I mean when you get one. ;)

i have a strap type one myself and the straps are rated at 10 tonne each, towed many of vehicle with it inc a 5 tonne iveco spec lift with out issues, that said i use to work for a recovery company and it is a proper industral type one
