If it was buying again i would go V6, but no point in changing. 2.2 does what i need it to do.

"WTF" Was that really needed?  :-/

As a buyer, yes! If you were buying a replacement DTi, would you consider a GLS, with so many CDX/Elite spec ones around? No.

Seems i'm getting my mind up for me now ;D
If all i could afford was a GLS then that's what i'd have. Some folk don't care what spec they have & so are happy with the lower option.
I personally don't like leather, but other's do :)
Yes i had the choice of two DTi's, a CD & a CDX when i was looking & i picked the lower spec, because the CDX had leather ;) So the answer to your question isn't "No"

So my question is;- if you had a choice of two cars like i
had which one would you have?

If i knew nothing about Omegas i would pick the one in the best condition i could get for my money, with the lowest miles. Also depends how it drove, if 100k car drove sweet as a nut, but 70k bag of spanners, i would buy 100k one.

But as i know Omegas well, and having a CD, i would have to go CDX or Elite spec as a replacement, as i would want HID's and if possible Bose for my money.

Thus if anyone posted a link to a GLS of any kind, i would urge them to look for a higher spec car, passing on what i have learnt, unless they were desperate for a car.

If you posted up a link of XYZ Brand car on XYZ forum, asking if this 123 model of car is ok? Would you not like someone to say, "hang on, get the "789" version as that has all the toys?

It at least gives you information & power to haggle on the price of the GLS  :y

So back to your question - Does it matter? - Yes!

So you'd buy a CDX with leather as oppossed to a CD without?
