Fin, as I said before, your next stop is to get in touch with the chairman of the governing body. Disciplinary decisions made by the head are subject to appeal by an panel of governors (not including the head). You never know, they may be waiting for an excuse like this.  ;)

Very true. And the governors are likely to be made up, at least in part, of concerned parents like yourself and not brainwashed to be PC like the staff.

Thanks Guy. But I am going to hit them.... with TV exposure and a law suit on Monday. They have a durty of care. After talking with my solicitor this evening it has been confirmed that the school head could be charged with neglect. The pupils concerned could be charged with attempted murder too because they attempted to stop my son breathing.

In any event, I will not be doing nothing and waiting for it to go away. I am one of those people that doesn't take no for an answer. The intriging thing is that this girl is almost 13, yet still in year 7. That amkes me wonder if she is one of those special cases?

After some digging tonight, it turns out that in addition to the gun that was in the school 3 years ago that they could not find, or the teacher who was assaulted by a pupil who was allowed to return 3 weeks later, last year a female teacher suddenly disappered on a course. I thought I smelt a rat and have unearthed the fact that she was in fact caught running a swingers party and was struck off as a teacher.

This teacher was teaching my child last year, so I will now be adding child endangerment to my list of matters as the school left a pervert to teach him. I will eb doing a LOT of research.

We used to have fights, skive lessons take girls up to field if we could & got caned if we were caught, all the usual stuff in the 70's. Things must've moved on since even my sons day & he's nearly 22.
Still my thoughts are with you & your lad & i will watch this post.

I have just got home following a meeting with my son's school, in which I called the head teacher a f***ing moron that should not be allowed within 100yds of a child.

For those that don't know, my son was assualted at school last Friday. His left arm was broken and he was punched in the head by a 12 year old Big fat girl. Now, if anyone is thinking of adding any comments about a girl beating up my son, be careful I will get in my car and come and kick your arse HARD.

This large lump assaulted my son, who tried by all means not to retaliate. He is after all a black belt in karate and it would look bad if he was seen beating up a girl wouldn't it. But eventually he had no choice than to hit back.

So, the punishment. Well, the girl spent 2 days in isolation at the school and.... thats it.

BUT the school wants to put my son in isolation because in the middle of this mele, my son threw some water towards the crowd of her friends and her to try and get them to back off.

The crap school think that is SERIOUS and he must be put into isolation. OVER MY DEAD BODY I told them. The head teacher tried to justify this by stating that the girl did not mean to break his arm and that my son called her a 'hairy face'. For F*** SAKE, what the hell is wrong with this country? I am absolutely hopping mad and tomorrow we have ITV getting involved.

They have picked the wrong person to mess with this time. I left the meeting after telling the head teacher that this was utter bo11ocks and that if they put my son in isolation I put them on TV. I then slammed the door so hard that the whole school shuddered. (well I do have a shortish fuse).

But, have you ever heard anything so inept in your life? Can you imagine the messages this sends to both this f***wit girl and my son. She will know that if you break peoples arms you get a bit of a break in a special classroom. My son knows that as the victim of a serious assault you get punished.

Fan F***ing tastic

Reading all the posts, I am totally with you on this one Fin :y, good luck and keep us posted with the events :y

unfortunately thats school logic, since I have been in education now most of my life and working at a school for a year recently i am not surprised.

One of my early primary school head teachers, told my parents i should be transfered to a special school because i was violent at school!  :o - No Joke!!! Really did happen.

Those who have meet me (in particular Jaime), are now at present rolling around the floor laughing i bet.....  :D

Teachers and parents generally have no idea how rough schools are, if you don't defend yourself you leave yourself open for more attacks.

Sounds like you done some great digging there... should make the school quickly change their mind  :y

On a serious note, it does appear to be a mad situation, too much PC and not enough common sense  >:(

Ronnie do you have a statement detailing what the other sides version of events or just your sons side of events......whilst you may not wish to believe its possible, maybe there's more too this than your aware of.

Does sound very odd (from previous thread) that a gang of 20 kids would attack your boy unprovoked...and throwing water.??? sorry to say this mate but it doesn't sound as straight forward as it might appear, really think you should (if you haven't already) get a detailed statement from all involved.

I was nearly expelled from school when i was 14 due to savagely attacking a female teacher.....nearly blinded her and of course this was a premeditated attack (headmasters words).....only when the police was called in and parents called out of work to attend school before the police took me away did the truth actually come out,the female teacher simply run over to where i was hitting a class mate (boys will be boys)  and accidentally walked into my elbow, she said it was a simple accident and partly her fault.....still classed as a thug by the teachers from that day on.

So you see how situations can be black and white until you dig a little deeper and things become not so straight forward.....i do hope you end up resolving this, just remember as children we don't always tell are parents the whole truth. :y
