What does mv6 stand for?

Posted the answer to this in the newbie section as someone wanted to know,but probably wouldent get read in there.It stands for multi-valve-6 cylinder if anyones interested. ::)

I hate to agree with you Daz, but..............so did I.
Every V6 is a multi-valve V6, not just the MV6.

I thought it stood for Motorsport, so just Googled it, top answer came up as Catera Owners accross the pond, so looked at the same question on that thread and the answer from them was......

An MV6 is a 'go-faster' model ..... does it matter whether it stands for owt?  :-?  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)

All the 6 cylinders would be MV6 if that were the case

This reminds of the debate we had many years ago in the Rover SD1 Club,  what "SD1" stood for :)

Just sounds cool i guess. Lower & firmer than other Migs so slightly better handling but no faster out of the box.
   Who said low spec? Digi climate as standard. Ok no satnav on mini facelifts but i don't use it myself, i can read a map. My MV6 has been fitted with cruise control, bose, full recaro leather (won't see that on an Elite). I'm still waiting for a privacy rear blind & shelf in black & the heated recaros only go up & down........but i'd leave you in my dust on the twisties....
   & i have the best wheels a Mig can ever have, along with a spare set! 8-)
