Fastest car i'ver ever driven was a flat front 911 turbo, but the fastest i've ever driven is Merc C63 AMG derestricted 175mph,

Was passenger in one....also derestricted. On way to Gatwick at 4 in morning on a fine day in may. On m25..clocked 170 mph

Dont know about top speed , probably about 125ish in my old alfa gtv ,but had a ride{passenger}in my mates 6r4 when he was works driver now that was soooooooo quick not so much top end but zero to 100ish and back to stop almost bike fast .Scary

flat out in third going into forth in the omega then bottled it so about 130 .

155 in a Volvo C70 T5
135 in a 2litre MONDEO (that was scary)

Only had my Omega up to 130 (sat nav speed)

an indicated 184 on gsxr1000k1 at bruntingthorpe but with lowered gearing so actual speed would be less than the usual 10% error,  140 in the 3.2

I once had an indicated 99mph from my moggy traveller back in 1969. Mind you it could have only been 98, as I didn't dare take my eyes off the road for long LOL. I've had my Omega up to 110 on the clock with a bit still in reserve, but not much IMO.
