Hello Everyone,

As some of you may be aware I need a new cam sensor and being a 4 pod with no a/c there is plenty of room and I am aware it may not be a big job but I am not always very handy with tools and also do not have any on me.

I would rather pay someone on this forum than paying a garage – as the forum has helped me immensely in more than one way.

Any body living nearer to Middlesex (TW postcodes) interested in doing this job?

i work for Sky, based at Osterley (TW8). Done 2.2 cam sensors, but not 2.0. If they are the same i can do it

Applies to crank sensor. Cam sensor dead easy

Cheers Rob, EcoTec cover is screwed down from memory on 2.0. 2.2 its clipped on, coil pack connector at the back needs to come off, but since 2.0 is DIS, not needed?

Screwed down ecotec plate, cambelt cover, aux belt as usual then

If your getting Camshaft signal incorrect signal....dont be surprised if its still present after

What do you reckon will be a permanant solution then? I was told the cam sensor needs replacement? I will post the actual error code in a bit- I believe it is 92 but will confirm

Edit: Yes the code is 92 Camshaft sensor Incorrect signal
