I know a "daylight MOT" exists for some bikes without lights but rarely used.
Even if it was legal to drive that car with no headlamp it still has no working indicator @ said corner hence illegal.

That's a fair point... Can't remember the ruling on that. Think it was age specific :-/ :-/

could be wrong but in daylight hours i thought it was ok to drive with a headlight out  :question

Sorry Herc but wrong mate

Any vehicle on the road has to conform to MOT standards, and a car wouldnt pass an MOT with a headlight missing......

 :y

I'm afraid you're wrong there... If the vehicle is presented as daylight use only (can't remember what evidence needs supplying :-/) then it can have no headlights at all :o :o But... The MOT  is endorsed as daylight and good visibility use only :y :y

Yes and er no.... This car has lights fitted therefore they must work. If a car, as with some bikes, was designed to only be used in daylight and therefore had no lights fitted then that would be OK.......... :y

i think legal issue aside, its just asking to be pulled over. Better off on a low-loader if you would want to transport that
