For mounting my LPG injectors on the spare manifold i have (Thanks to KenT for the spare!)

Few pictures of the mounting:

Manifold ready for an injector



Starting off with a pilot hole



Pilot hole (notice amount of crap generated on this, still can't believe some 'professional' conversion garages drill with them in place)



Taking the pilot hole up to 5mm, then tapped out to 6mm



Injector mounted with some thread lock



Inside manifold, it was filled down to make it flush



All injectors mounted



All ready for fitting now  :D

Nice Work Kevin :y :y Looks like there will be a new LGP Omega on the road very soon..think that i may have to become a member with the price of Petrol as it is :o :o will make a big saving

What I do like about how Kevin has drilled and tapped the holes for the Jets is the position so that when the LPG Pipes go on, the pipes will not be in the way of the bolt holes..... each one I have had the pleasure to play with is a ball ache to remove the inlet manifold bolts ::)

Once you know you don't need the car again, get it in that garage and swap the manifolds over (as it stands is fine as long as you'll be able to get to all the nozzles)... Don't forget to swap your petrol injectors etc onto the new manifold :y :y

Going to swap the throttle body, but discussing with KW, he said to leave the injectors as they rarely go wrong. With luck i won't be needed them much!

Also got some new spark plugs, loads of anti-freeze so almost all set now.

Do you want to start on the front end first or tank mounting? - If i start removing the manifold, won't be able to move it if it starts to rain  :-/

You can always connect the rubber hoses to the nozzles, cut them off (ideally all the same length) plenty long enough to mount the injectors somewhere sensible. If you need to start the car you can then connect up the pipes to the injector rail, which will seal them.

While you've got the manifold off, remove the scuttle and make the coolant connections to the rear of the engine as discussed and leave a loop of heater hose round the driver's side of the engine bay. When you come to mount the vapouriser you can just cut this at the appropriate point and insert the vapouriser, removing any excess. :y

Petrol injectors on the drilled manifold look in good condition and were from a known good engine so I would personally leave them be to save time and avoid the risk of getting an air leak. :-/

Can't you squeeze it into the garage and then do it? Leave it there overnight? We'll probably work both ends simultaneously  from tomorrow morning :y

Not the end of the world... Tell you what then... Measure up the floor/chassis rails underneath and mark out on the frame where we need to drill the holes to bolt it through... This took me ages when I did mine and I still mucked it up and had to work hard to get it fitted ::)
