Its all done, and running perfectly on gas!

Firstly huge thanks to:
Lazydocker - For giving up
three days and traveling from huge distance to help me fit it, could not have done it without you. Your attention to detail and neatness, and stopping me doing bodges

All first class, BIG thanks
Kevin Wood - for giving his evening up to drill and mount the injectors on the manifold, and for loads of advice
KenT - For the spare 2.2 manifold!
TB - Providing some tech2 after conversion to make sure all is well
All kit performed well, new drill was excellent, as was the cone drills from Screwfix

It was all done by about 12 today, few other bits to tidy up, more P clips on fuel rail, and few other very minor bits, but basically its done!
I did the back end of the install, tank mounting, fuel lines, fillter, LD did the much more skilled front end, he has loads of photos of this

Pictures are combination of yesterday's and todays, i have loads more than shown, available for a how2, i can zip these up for easy download

Fitting tank straps

With the plastic plates to stop tank vibration, getting the straps to reach was a challenge!

Tightening them up

Boot beginning to fill with tools

Multivalve going on, one bolt did not have a thread

- That did not stop LD!

Drilling vent holes, for fuel lines and loom

My hightech wedge for the drill, had to keep popping under the car to make sure i was not hitting the petrol tank.

Seal up those bare metal holes...

More tools in the boot....

Trace of orange plastic, i reckon its was off a VW Passat i re-designed 2 years back

Feeding some wires through....

My LPG install was such big news in Brackley, Sky News turned up

So i got the bacon butties on...

Used vent hose to protect certain sections of the polyflex were it might rub, also used P clip and more underseal.

Spreader plates have since been straightened, and sealed with under-seal

Bumper ready to go back on

Fat bloke fresh from holiday turned up, no shortage or spare cars!

ECU under front wing

Fuel lines in the front wheel arch going into engine, again protected by some coolant hose

Fuel Gauge

The last bolt!

Injectors mounted, front end done!

Last bolt being done up!

Tank and rear end kit all done

Stopped off after tanking up on gas, and let the mapping begin. (soapy water to check for any leaks, there were none

)

Fully Gassed up (in my best American accent)

Diag lead mounted near airbox....
