Sorry Del, but the rear light chrome surrounds really spoil it for me. The rest of the chrome looks ok, but they look fake. I've found from a fair few people I talk to, that people with chrome on their cars they want to de-chrome and people without want to add it. BMW on the e39 and e60 offered de-chroming.

Yeah, this just looked so boring without the chrome bits, I mean boring and dull too. It's the wheels, I think they just look totally wrong and I don't know why.

Yeah they don't suit the car some how, in-fact most of the 'standard' BMW alloys look a bit shite if i am honest, 19" M Sport ones look best:



Makes ride a bit poor though 

SE suspension is comfy, they're 18" MV2's, spider style is 19's  I want the 19's too, but £300 for one wheel, or £420 for replica's brand new but thats without tyres, which are 245/35/19 and 275/30/19, so that another 500 on tyres for a decent make 

Ouch!

Could get cheap naff branded tyres, but I was lucky I didn't lose the last BM as that slipped absolutely everywhere in the wet  :-/

Shame about import costs, otherwise could have gone into business! You buy em cheap, i drive them to cem, he flogs them for silly money, split profits 3 ways, could be very profitable!

not sure for the period now.. I'll check ..but sure not easy.. the gallery mafioso have some relations in the ministry and they have some special permissions.. which lets them bring easily and have the papers quickly.. one friend coming from abroad bring an x5 3.0d and tell me that it would be cheaper to buy from here :-?  .. only one way not to pay those taxes is to use foreign plate..but you must exit the borders every 6 months
