Golf R32
« on: 04 May 2010, 18:44:35 »

Had a little test drive of a 57 plate Golf R32 today and oh my god, what a machine, got up to 140 mph on a private road obviously and it was still pulling, the noise when you put your foot down as well is to die for, I've got to say one of the best noises i've ever heard an exhaust make. It's absolutely lovely.

Anyone know much about them?

I estimate that.. ;D

honestly R32 is a refined car.. really good..

but an M3 ...... deserves its name..

and if I had that money (double the price for here or more practically) I wouldnt waste a second and buy it..

Wouldn't buy that one though at £17k, way over priced, no sat-nav and tv either and a 2003, could get the same car with sat nav for around 3-4k less.  :y

Won't buy one unless I can make some money on it, mind you I have found a 2005 M3, sat nav, imola leather, silver, TV, harmon kardon for £13,500, it's quite tempting only the 18" alloys though not the nicer 19's.

my personal opinion:  even I wont use 18..

wheels too heavy.. you need to have very thin tires which will eventually go flat in the first pothole and will need expensive repairs..and an uncomfortable trip in city with speed bumps, cat eyes etc etc.. :-/
