i know others out there have had a oil leak well dampness around the oil filter area.
I took the oil filter housing off the car took filter out and put the cap back on turned it upside down and filled it with warm oil and left it for an hour.
on my return i found that there was a hair-line crack in the alloy casting of the housing I cleaned it up with a fine abrasive (240grit) flapper disc on grinder and used defcon alloy epoxy to fill crack
tested it again no leak yipee
I found it easyer to remove the steering idler gives easy access for removal
