Had a quick look at this today :D :D it's just about 'Mint' only had a quick chat with the seller, he was dealing with a real customer. A totally unmolested car, mileage is genuine, 2 owners the last an older couple used it only for towing their caravan, he told me it needs discs, though I had noticed, think they might be replaced before the sale. At the time of asking, he was unsure when the cambelt was changed but said he would be able to check. Can't get it out of my mind :D :D
What do we think of the price?
Think he might take an offer for no PX, was the oldest car on the lot, he just took it in PX and is happy to retail because of it's condition :)
Must control my urges, looking for a sensible car, but maybe I am too old to be sensible :D :D :D

I'm hopeless at prices of stuff, but I'd offer a price for you to sort the discs & cambelt, that way you'll know they've been done without cheap pattern discs & the tensioners have been changed along with the cam belt.

If that's the  case Vamps, I would seriously consider the 'devil you know', & the Citroen is a steady & comfortable workhorse IMHO :y

Makes sense, and just run some insurance costs, very reasonable, must be my age... ::) ::)

Sensible and practical but perhaps a little boring, don't get me wrong really easy and light to drive and great mpg, and have enjoyed it for 3 years but would have to commit to a further 5 :-/ (Not rigid, just practical)

Tell me about it, swmbo has given up,  ::) ::) she tries to show an interest and understanding of my thinking, which changes day by day... :D :D :D

The daft thing is that during the working day I make decisions that can have serious consequences which I have little problem in making.... ::) ::) ::)

Sorry to bore people, I did warn you... ::) ::) ::)

How much money will you lose on the Citroen when you sell it in a few years and how much will the MV6 lose ;)

Omegas are a sensible choice.

lots of room, proper rear-drive handling, simple and easy to fix.

want me to show you some non-sensible cars ?

Stu just a bit further up in Northumberland

Yeah, that hill by my house has never been quite the same since the Commodore demolished it. :o

Seems quite sedate climbing it flat out in a 3.2. :(
