98 v6 vectra, fanimold
« on: 27 May 2010, 21:46:46 »

being gay wheel drive obviously its the manifold nearest the bulk head thats failed, "obviosly"!

i'm asked to ask how much is a new manifold? as it assumed the manifold is cracked, but my first thought was its more likely to be the gaskit as its common on the Omega.

Any input appreciated.

Very common problem, Chris. Would suspect the gasket first, have only seen a couple cracked, but loads blowing due to gasket gone. Cheaper easier repair, too!!
