ex-plod running well
« on: 30 May 2010, 16:52:28 »

Just had the plod on tec2 thanks to TB and am happy with the result all i need now is a new clutch switch, my fault codes from last night have all been reset and the EM light is still out (thankyou). The mig is running smooth and just eats the miles. Why is it when you drive a white mig on the motorway in the outside lane other people just move out the way ;D ;D ;D just the aircon to have fixed this week and i'm almost there. :y

For ref, the lamda ones with both 'slow response', both sensor 1 on both banks.  Kevin Wood is probably the lamda expert due to his Megasquirt knowledge, but my feeling is they may be lazy.

The sensor 2's on each bank were the ones that were moved?

Had a few hours on the plod today and now she is less of a plod as I have removed all the wires they use must be about 2kg of wires still a few trim items I would like to replace but as she stands with the 3.2 manual, HIDs, self leveling shocks (which look OK at the moment), she has MV6 seats, and I think L/S/diff, but she is running on CD wheels. Tomorrow she will be having the aircon fixed and an MV6 front bumper fitted. :y

Aircon working and MV6 front bumper on and she runs a bit cooler now around 83 in traffic. Had a good look under the car when simon was fitting the bumper and the rear shocks are not self leveling, all the gear is there but the wrong shocks have been fitted so the spare pair I have in the garage will have to go on as soon as I have time. The main dealer in swindon could not find the parts number for the clutch switch today so does anyone on here know the number. The new indicator lever with cruise control will be here in a day or so so as soon as I get hold of a clutch switch cruise will be working as TB did the computer settings for me. So thanks to TB and Simon this week :y :y

If the lambdas are slow then swap them with the post cat ones

if I swap the lambda sensor around will the EM light go out or would I have to have a system reset first. That's swap pre cat with post cat. I still have the following codes

0704 the new clutch switch is in and working
0150 TB thinks they are slow response
0130 as above
