Had those on the Cavalier after my usual FireHawks were not obtainable for a few days.  Hated them.  Terrible grip in the wet.  :'(  Could be a completely different story on the Omega though  :y

Due to running on a shoestring (no job atm), I use whatever I can get at my local part worn seller...  That said, I have found that Michelins, Uniroyal and Bridgestones do well in the premium brands..  And in the cheaper brands NangKang appear to last quite well too...

As previously stated, you will get loads of different replies to this question.

I run Accellera Alpha's all round. Top end of the budget tyre range and seem to be pretty good. I've had 7 now (as one was replaced due to a puncture) in over 50k miles. I find them reliable enough in all conditions and will take a lot of abuse before they let go and wear (obviously) very well. Perhaps a little noisier than more expensive brands but a compromise I'm willing to make.

I dare say that there are people who wouldn't like them but they suit me and my driving style :y
