Now that will have an interesting power/weight ratio ...  although the torque might make it somewhat "skittish" .... :)

Exactly. Same (ish) power as a tuned Duratec / V8 but I bet the weight comes down quite a lot. Shame their web site is so sh1te at giving specs really. First question about a sports car is always what does it weigh? ::)

The chassis copes well with a lot more torque than that engine, so I wouldn't have thought it's a monster. The delivery is what will make or break a Turbo as far as the driving experience goes.

I don't like the way they seem to have ducted the intake air around 3 sides of the engine bay to get to the intercooler. I wonder if that makes it a bit laggy. Nothing a chargecooler wouldn't fix. ;)

Encountered a cdti insignia a while back, with a red "i" in the cdti badge. Barely gained on it at higher speeds, even on petrol. :-/

And there is a BMW 1 series "D" something or other that I encounter/provoke on my commute, must have been chipped, does shift.

They are fairly fast. The downside being you look like an extremely gay version of Noddy when you're driving one.  :D
