Vader was a 3.0 mv6 auto which not many were allowed to drive.
And after being allowed, some were never allowed to drive it again ;D

That had fantastic suspension on it.  Reckon mine may have had the edge higher up the rev range though.  We'll never know now.

calibrated speedo on ex plod cars useful for such exercises, but frustrating in every day driving. i've a gatso near me that surveys the bottom of a 3/4 mile steepish slope, with a 40 limit. :-/ the number of people who see it and panic brake down to 27mph, believing stupidly that: 1. the limit is 30, and 2. that they are doing 30, is quite frightening  :-/
imo (subject to suitable/legal :-X opportunities) you should have an idea of what your limits are and also the limits of whatever it is that you drive. if you know how your car/bike/truck behaves at its limits, then you'll be more able to handle any unexpected situations as they arise. nothing worse than having to do an emergency lane change at 70ish because a superstar in an audi or sprinter wants to go from lane 3 to the slip road in the last 50 yards and finding that your car pulls right when you stand on the anchors :o
