Tilo's LPG kit does not include Elbows! T pieces yes, inline joins yes, but not Elbows/90 degree right angles for joining the coolant pipes to vaporiser and hbv etc. The way mines done this is an omission in the kit ime.

So when installing mine I had to source some sharpish and B+Q obliged with some nylon efforts in their hardware section. Not automotive parts but they did the job...until about a week ago and one started to leak, spraying the the under side of the hbv with coolant. Proved with a pressure test.

Turns out the B+Q elbow had deformed to the shape of the flat internal side of the jubilee clip supplied with the kit, allowing it to leak by. It's taken 15 to 20k to leak, and I've replaced the jubilee clips with gm water pipe clips to give even pressure all round the hose on the another B+Q elbow I had spare.

All could have been avoided, maybe Lazydocker could update Tilo, if not too busy.?

Must confess, I used the elbow part of a compression joint (which I know works as I used the same on my RR) but it's still a risk

Paul spoke to T and got some delivered for me along with the poly flex, he did mention then it should be part of the kit, maybe Telio forgot?

Also can he do certification yet?

And can he sort the lag ? (while we're on at him?) I spoke to a guy at Tinly tech on this issue, he said, without seeing it, that it should be tuned out...  ? Certainly on their kits anyway.  :-/

I think Kevin Wood might be able to help you out with some elbows Chris.Iirc he offered me some if I needed them when I was doing a bit of coolant replumbing a couple of weeks ago. :-/

i don't have the power really to confirm lag, but i've done 5.8k rpm and 120mph (on a track) still running fine on gas! 

Sometimes it does cut out booting it, but there is no pattern, although on a full tank it happens less, then again i've booted it with red light on and all was well. It helps being smooth off the power, something you can't really control on autos (mines manual)

If they fit and secure properly then I see no problems with that

Teilo is sure it should get tuned out but the issue may be mechanical in the Vaporiser... I'm hoping to see him and let him have a play but it's difficult to arrange at the moment

Thanks, thats reassuring.I would like to replumb it sometime anyway. Far too many joins for my liking at the moment.
I am amazed how quickly it switches over to LPG now. Mostly due to the advice from your good self/Kevin/Phil/Chris etc. I wouldnt have had a clue where to start without it.

As for certs... He can do Safety certs

Once the Westfield is back together I could do with getting him to do a cert, in which case I'll take the Tech 2 down there and let him have a play with that too. See if he can shed any light.

Absolutely no lag on mine whatsoever with Magicjet injectors.

Is as pokey as running on petrol, right through the range...
