New Facelift AirCon buttons - Would you want them?
« on: 14 September 2010, 21:31:26 »

As per subject.

Just throwing this open to members out there, if you could get them, would you be interested in buying a set ?.

I've got a couple of manufacturing places here that I'm going to approach, to ask if they could make some new alloy ones up, and get them anodised to look like original perhaps.

Obviously the price will come into play, depending on how many 'sets' they'll do for a good price ?.

Anyone else interested if I could get this done, and how much would you figure on paying for a set.

Anyone saying "nothing", "free", or on the line's of....., will get a big wet fish slapped in ya face !  ;D  ;D

Just trying to get a serious idea if anyone else would be interested ? - Cheers  :y

Yes, a set would be handy to keep for my next Mig (which is inevitably going to be a F/L unfortunately).

I'm quite fond of wet fish.

Seriously though, I dont see a figure of £30 - £40 being unrealistic for replacement buttons which will last more than a month.  You'll just have to get them to manufacture the rest of the crappy dash to suit the mint buttons  ;D

i would definitely be interested. the butt puppet who owned my omega previously (new shape) must have had long nails as the plastic has worn away on the 'auto' and 'off' buttons for the blower.

however it really depends how much they are
i really wouldnt like to guess how much that wud be

Already thought about that side of things.  Just depends on if either one can do it, and how much ?.

Will let you know what I find out ?.
