Small RWD cars are brilliant fun, like go carts :y :y

:o No, that would be FWD as in Mini, show me a same size car in rwd that will beat it, in standard spec, is there one?? ::) ::) ::)

Smart Roadster in Brabus flavour :y  :y  :y
keep trying, cos I really can not think of one.. :)

4 proper seats?  I think not, not a standard spec comparison.... ::) ::)

I dont think there has ever been a purpose built /designed FWD competition car, in racing/ rallying or any other class of motorsport that I can remember - there must be a reason for that. ;)

surely that's the wrong way round ?  can any FWD ever better a 1959 RWD setup ? I doubt not

on Omega B, the speed signal is generated by the ABS system, ther isn't a gearbox-mounted speed sensor at all.

actually, thinking about it, the Mini must be just about the worst FWD ever designed......

too small
too costly
slow
ugly
made a loss on every one sold
poor economy
very poor comfort
unreliable

beaten by even the humble 2CV on every front

Ugly, well thats down to personal taste but I think the original mini looks fantastic and far better than the 2cv
Speed. The mini is faster then the 2CV. How many motor sport events did the 2CV win  ;D

I'll let you off on the Motorsport thing, although there's still a lot of 2cv racing today.

it's not that I particularly like the 2cv, it's just that it's my example of the perfect motor car - designed to transport four in comfort at minimal expense, just what the car was originally invented for.

Sadly you are mistaken, that was it's progression, originally the 2cv was designed to carry a basket of eggs and the farmer across a plowed field without breaking the eggs...and it did it.... :y :y
