Flashed by a traffic light camera...
« on: 11 October 2010, 00:22:59 »

...that was green. Definitely green! Must have been speed set it off, 65 in a 50   :-[

I knew they could set traffic light cameras for speed as well, but never encountered one, until now. Arse!

And were there 'speed markings' on the road - I didn't think they could use them as speed traps without them (but they do show your speed as you cross a red light without them, AFAIK it's not used to prosecute you for speeding thus the double-check lines aren't needed)

Looked like a double double, two very quick flashes then two very quick flashes, as opposed to the usual flash...flash. More of a strobe, anyway, it defo went off. :(

Just looked on google maps, there are lines through the junction, you will probably know the camera, take the 322 to the m3, last set of lights befor the m3 junction, by bagshot, junction with new road and the 322.

Ah yes, I know the junction .. I was going to chastise you for 65 in a 50, but given that stretch of road ;)

I looked on StreetView, though, and I couldn't see the usual speed markings..

Suzuki R1 ????????? :-/ :-/ ::)

Chris - could be 3 points and £60 - not a huge deal unless of course you already have a collection of points.

License is clean, a mess, but clean, in fact an officer verified it for me a couple of months ago, he thought I had run a red light, I hadn't, but his approach changed after a license check, "that's fine sir, a substantially clean license, have a pleasant evening" we where in slough, we where talking about road wars for a while  ;D
