few treats for the omega tomorrow morning

finally booked into the garage at 8.30am tomorrow (stupid shift patterns) having the rocker gasket done (oil in pots when i serviced it last week) couple of new breather pipes and finally getting a new key fob so i can open the boot without having to enter the car 1st for button on dash >:( ,
genuine vauxhall gasket set,breather pipes , and key fob
parts and labour inc coding the the new key to my car £105 , just need some better alloys and a spring clean then i may be happy  :y

No you wont be happy=we constantly improve our cars its a wierd thing I know but thats true isnt it :y :y :y

pics will be posted as soon as i get a chance to clean it, what with working shifts and the weather i havnt touched it with a sponge since i bought it 2 mths ago well chuffed with the price for work doing as the parts alone are around £70 hopefully if the work is up to scratch it will be somewhere i can use long term, oh yeah need some uprated h/light bulbs too originals are rubbish ! and some new wiper blades, erm yeah i see what you mean its never ending :)

When you consider how much knuckle-scraping can go on in a v6 engine bay, that is a bargain price. Look forward to seeing it all spick n span!

I know about shift work(nurse) And dont worry too much about dirt mate I took mine to oxford meet No4 dirty-this time of year you clean it then it rains and ya back to start again :-?

Op has a 2.2 (Desmond :D) 16V. That's the one with only 2/3rds of an engine to you V6 snobs  ;) ;D :y

its a local garage to me , the gasket set, key fob, and pipe all came from vauxhall dealership , no unfortunatly ive only got the 2.2 16v  :'( 
Total price came to £124 with the vat thats including the labour too! and it was ready for when he promised so i could go to work :y

Yeh v6 better-more power more expense more fuel Just need bigger wallet/bank account- Any miggie is good for comfort space and looks :y

yep i was wanting a v6 but i was stuck for a car and couldnt get hold of a manual version close enough or in my price range so settled for the 2.2 but lovely comfy car with plenty of room for the sprogs just the spec lets it down  a bit only been a glsi i hate the standard alloys so i think that ill have to start looking for some replacements
