Rolling road does make the TC light stay on and does go off after a few yards normal driving, but it doesn't put the box into limp mode.

Even on the later half CAN Vxl models with autobox and ESP/TC that you CAN'T TURN OFF  >:(, on a rolling road it just throws up a fault on ESP/TC after a few seconds popping and farting but the box still works as normal. Turn ignition off then on and alls fine in the stability world.

Could the cold have affected oil flow in the box and under the 'extreme pressure of hard acceleration' caused it to go limp?
