Towing
« on: 03 December 2010, 21:08:22 »

I know this is a silly question, but it is cold and am not going to go outside and look.......

Does the Mig have towing eyes behind the bits in the bumper that come off or do you have to screw one in, and if so do they come with the car??

Just that I might have to tow swmbo, pre facelift estate, out with my facelife saloon,  over the weekend, it is well and truly blocked in with snow.... ::) ::)

L/H side of lower grill drops out of the front bumper to expose towing eye. Rear bumper has circle that clicks out and allows you to screw in the eye stored in the jack pouch.

Not sure about that to be honest - but it certainly has a coarse enough thread to work it out :y

I know its a PITA to get them in, the threads seem to suffer from 'the great outdoors' ;D
