pug 106 diesel h/gasket
« on: 10 December 2010, 19:36:45 »

workmate has offered me his pug 106 diesel, 1993 L plate,

mot'd and taxed til feb, but its using a bit of water, he had the h/gasket done over a year ago and it was fine for about 9-10 months, then started losing water slowly (header tank a month)

the gasket was changed and head torqued correctly etc, but he didnt get the head skimmed, could this be whats causing the recent trouble?

ther is no mixing with the oil.

cheers  :y
