Headlight Bulb just blown...

Why is it, headlights always choose the most inopportune moments to fail...

The first weekend in a while that I need to use the car at night and the nearside bulb decides that it is time to fail...  I have my Nghtbreakers ordered, which I am hoping might arrive on Saturday, but, given the time of year, unlikely....
