back lights tinted

i was thinking of tinting my back lights on the elite, only the clear part of the lights, should i? or shouldnt i ? has anyone done this and have any pictures cheer's :y

I think 1999 models came tinted. Never seen a facelift tinted thugh...

ye i no , but i was just seeing if any1 had tinted there late shape one's  :)

Steve aka SP3.2 has the top half of his facelift rear saloon's lights tinted.  ;)

Was there an Irmscher set available?  :-/  :-/  :-/

you have to get the tint just right or they fail it on mot or police stop you and give you a fine on the spot, like i got 3years back. :(

I'm not sure how it'd look on an Omega, but years ago I got a reasonable result with 3mm black pin stripe across the lights. My later Senator had a similar set up to give the effect of a tinted lamp cluster but still show the proper colour of each bulb in them.

you can always take it back off again if you don't like it.  ;)

Very true did it about a year ago or so. I used this

I liked the look of the pre facelift ones so that why i did it and was very happy.  :y :y . It,s hard to see from the pics with the sun but the tint is just abou the same as a set of pre facelift one.

I've used this tint can on my old beemer. It works a treat and looks the business. My only advice is to apply several thin coats til you get the desired tint. Go easy though as it does "run" very easily, IMO!   :y

Good point ....i think it took only 2 very light coats to get the right look. :y :y
