Get a Defender - I luvs 'em ::)

Defenders are awesome off road but dogs on it, especially if you're fairly broad. If you're towing long miles then I'd stick to the Range Rover or Disco.

Not tried Isuzu but aren't they supposed to be pretty reliable?

isuzu trooper or if you want auto the bighorn is sweet,ive had a disco 200 tdi and did the usual head gasket...crank pulley...hub oil seals which led to brakes amongst alot of other jobs and i went offroad at tong with it and what a machine(towed well too)but this time i got bighorn and what a difference a disco is a tractor with comfier seats and a stereo,the bighorn is more refined and just as capable off road(but landrover are world class).if this bighorn ive got ever gives in i would either fix or replace with another bighorn,plus its suspension is tweaked by lotus and it does drive well on the road
