I Not Happy Being 21 Again
« on: 06 January 2011, 19:47:21 »

I've had my insurance renewal come through last week & they've quoted £389.50. WHATTTTTTT >:( >:( >:( >:(
Fully comp, protected no claims etc. FFS I was paying that in my twenties, i'm gnikcuf 44 years of age, i only did just shy of 3900 miles last year, Burt's a 2.2 Diesel, garaged, no points, full no claims & the like.
I went on Go Compare & the cheapest i can get is £312.00 >:( >:( with all the boxes ticked.
My bloody insurance should be coming down & NOT going up, i'm/we're all paying for everyone elses bad driving.
I've said once it reaches the £500.00 mark i won't drive. They can stick it up their back sides.

;D I am 21, (29/12/1989) and would dearly love to pay that much.
I've paid £4,991 for the renewal of my traders policy, and if I were to privately insure my '03 2.6 Elite it'd be £1309 p/a which is actually a very good price. A female friend with a 'W' Ka, same age as me, no points etc and pays £750 p/a.

when i come to renew i'll be 30 with 5 years no claims

if i can get under £500 on my mv6 i'll be delighted, but then we'll being £10 a gallon on fuel by the time insurance drops

there needs to be new laws regarding insurance, we shouldn't be forced into losing out through no fault of our own

This is my gripe, we pay many hundreds & see absolutely nothing for it until we make a claim.
If you never claim then really you've paid money out for zip.

Good. Premiums might start coming down again.
