Fat boy fat? ;D

I reckon that's why my drivers side wishbone (or shock, or droplink, or .. something!) has started knocking and the car has all the directional control of a drunk sailor.

Or that could be the ruddy great pothole I hit ..  :-[

That's the one. :'(

Sorry to be a doom monger, but...

What you might find happening soon is that both the front wheels start to toe in when you load the front suspension, ie braking firmly. Steering wheel will shake violently at the same time. And all this will be accompanied by a clonking that will make you think that the subframe has just dropped off.  :o

About to replace the wishbones, struts, track rods and drop links on mine. Hopefully this will cure it. :-/

Fitted a few front springs now, never noticed different lengths, don't think this applies to the omega tbh. Wim have no allowance in their ride hight settings for a higher drivers front corner with no driver in the car.

Empty car should have the same ride hight all round, going by their set up procedure for measuring ride hight on the omega!

shouldnt be any difference in new sprigs apart from the drivers
side being a little lionger but not all are, however my problem was caused i think by an old spring(far as i know it was original)
and had simply got tired over the years, i.e. lost its spring tension, thats what caused the height difference :y
