Although the biggest Rover forum isn't a huge amount of use unless you are welding baked bean tins on the exhaust, fitted an unsuitable body kit or fitting a mega-super-chav bongo machine stereo...
I find the diesel section of said forum quite good ;)

yes would agree with that pete  but tb is right most of the users are only interested in modding and adding silly shiny bits to their cars  and the general feel and banter is nowere near as good as on here  luckily theres a lot of members on here with a wide knowledge on different makes :y

The bloke across the road has one and it used to be nice and quiet. His dad is a fitter where i work but he now spends most of his time working on trailers  ;D after one or two expensive incidents involving Mercedes truck engines, dad offers to service the car for him, son accepts offer. Result ?  he now has the noisiest diesel car on the estate and is competing with China in the pollution race (i think he's winning) sounds like he's left half the toolbox in the engine, painful to listen to on a really cold morning  ;D

The diesel version of this is something I have considered, indeed is in my ebay search at this very moment, was thinking of a cheap 200 or 400 as a run around for work... :) :)
