My car was £350 two years ago,it is never going to get that when it comes to getting rid so it's a case of running it until it goes no more, strip it for bits that members on here might need and then just weigh the rest in.I'm not looking forward to that day but until then I'm sticking with what I've got as I can't afford anything else.

I've got another Facelift Elite coming this weekend which will be stripped and sold for parts. Hopefully its demise will keep other Omegas on the road :)

Interested in a mirror adjuster switch if you have one on your breaker Pete...

It's part of the window switches on the facelift isn't it?

I have always been agin breaking perfectly serviceable cars especially during the scrappage scheme.

However I now find myself in the position of having to do that with one of my two Elites. One is good bodywork wise and everything electrical works, light coloured cloth interior and rear blind. But the engine has a water leak and doesn't run well. Could do with new wishbones and front shockers and exhaust is noisy.

The other works perfectly and drives well but the bodywork and electrical bits and bobs have seen much better days. Leather interior.

It makes sense to break the 1st car only because it is registered here. I can't imagine the hoops to jump through to break a UK registered car in a foreign country!

So I might be the first Iberian OOF Omega breaker.

Express interest by PM, will ship anywhere or you can collect :y

nothing wrong with cavaliers.and if people didnt break up omegas we wouldnt have cheep parts.so as i see it you pay top doller for parts or break up the shitters to keep good cars on the road.the choise is yours cos some of them just aint worth spending the money on to keep on the road.so it makes sence to me
