Which nightbreakers ?
« on: 25 January 2011, 06:19:10 »

The projectors on my Mig are crap imo, espacially the dipped beam. I am thinking of buying some Osram night breaker bulbs, but there is a bewildering choice tbh from H1/H4/H7/H11 ETC.
Anyone know which are the best options for both dipped and main beams on my car ? :-/

I've got dipped nightbreakers in mine, is a noticeable improvement! Throws the light much further forward and to the sides.

When I was doing 500+ miles a week though, I found a quick wipe of the headlights with a damp cloth before a night drive helped quite a bit!

Will second that, the salt and grime on the roads at this time of year reduces the effectiveness of them very quickly :y

I put four Nightbreakers on mine last week, I can't believe the difference. However, since the ones I took out have been on for 12 years, I guess they might have lost a little lustre. ::) :y
