You been taking lessons from Tunnie? ::) ::) :D :D

3000 RPM on a V6 is still equivalent to 4,500 RPM for a 4 pot. ;)

True... He'd have to drive everywhere at idle if Tunnie was teaching him :D :D

If I push it as hard as I do in a 140bhp 4 pot, it won't hang about with 400 bhp!  :D

I think you'll need to change your tyre supplier or your underpants. ;D

 ;D ;D

You remind me of a quote I read the other day - in an article detailing the build of a ~550hp Dax 427:

Quote
I'm proud to say, however, on a quiet B road in Wiltshire there is a 50 foot long number 11, and I'm responsible....

I was sold at that point.  ;D

Yes, I had a ride in one of their demonstrators a few years. back. "Interesting"  :o

I see they have got a 502 in their latest incarnation. Same engine as we use in the winches at the gliding club. I bet it's a bit of a handful in the wetdry. ;)

I'll bet they are!

I've been doing a bit of research into the various kits recently with the aim of building one later this year & next (to coincide with a friends 40th for which the plan is for the three of us to drive to Monaco - one will be in his Porsche, the birthday boy plans to have a Ferrari 355 by then since they're at rock bottom prices, anyway) - I'm glad this forum isn't like cobraclub.com though .. I'm still waiting for the 'moderators' to activate my account so I can do more than read posts  ;D ;D

Well, I can recommend it. ;) A mate of mine built a Tojeiro many years back. Just had a lightly breathed-on Rover V8 in it so not fast by any means, but it had the most lovely-sounding pair of sidepipes I have ever heard.  :-*

It's what got me interested in building a Westfield. Did a memorable journey down to Le Mans and back in convoy before I'd even ironed out the teething problems on the Westfield. ;D

The tunnels were the best bits. 8-)
