Astra LS S Reg (Fuse Layout)
« on: 16 February 2011, 13:55:35 »

Trying to help some one over the phone with thier Astra 5 Door LS

No brake lights or reverse lights working but the rear window LED brake light works ok which indicates the pedal switch is working ok.

They have checked all fuses and seem ok but dont have manual to confirm what they cover.

Bulbs have been checked and fuses have been checked, pulled out and refitted.

Does anyone have a link for and online astra manual or picture/details of fuse board layout.

Any help would be appreciated.  :y

If the high level brake lights are working I'd out money on it being the bulbs/wiring fault to the rear clusters... Bulbs more likely though ;)

Have you tried to reset the brake light switch in the drivers footwell? at the top of the brake pedal.

You have to press the brake pedal and pull the switch out to reset it.

To be fair tho as the reverse lights dont work as well then I guess this wont be the problem, worth a try tho.

Are the indicators and fogs ok.

Check the ground connection on the rear slam panel
