anyone had any experience of X Type Jags?

been talking to my old man and we're considering buying a jag x type between us. (dont worry still keeping the omega).

anyone with any experience, good or bad? ;) ;)

Go and drive one first... I'd rather have the Mondeo it's based on ::) ::)

2.5 and 3.0 versions are four wheel drive,2.0 and 2.2 diesel's are front drive only,I've driven both of the diesel models and a 3.0 manual but was'nt that impressed with any of them

lol overall not great then.

ive always liked the look of them. me and the old man just fancy the jag experience  :y

They aint as bad as everyone is making out, my stepdad has had a 53 plate 2.5 V6 Sport for years now, its lovely to drive and has not caused any problems since he has had it apart from brakes and tyres as its quite heavy on both.

Not really my cup of tea but I wouldnt say no if I had too

Great to drive, the diesel is quite frugal.  Some have had reliability issues, oil leaks, lambda issues, PAS pumps blowing up...

....but it is essentially a mondeo with a posh different shell

that is nice mate. was really wanting as young as pos with as low mileage as pos under 2k. something like this...89k miles.

get an XJ12 or one of the X300 series and use the change to do it up.  That's the real jag experience, buy it cheap and spend a butt load of money keeping it on the road ;D ;D ;D
