Although I've heard that there's another ex-plod floating about on a 54 plate

Know of two '54' plate estates, my one and OU54AEX.  8-)

Not sure about the '05' saloon, was definitely a '54' plate as registered before end feb '05.

its posible there was a backlog of unsold cars who nows what is left in the stock pile of cars

hindley green now, on the main road, but soon the be back in hindley since swmbo doesnt want me anymore!!

There's quite a few '04' and '54' plate Omega's about.
Thames Valley Police have/had the largest supply. A Scottish police force, whichever have 'SV' as their local memory tag on the VRM also have/had a good quantity of '04' Omega's.
There are plenty of civvy spec '04' 2.2 GLS' about. I've also seen two '05' CDX saloons. Both were 2.6 in Rubens red.

..the silver 'Police' estate on Silent Witness this week was a 54 plate too - maybe the BBC have a secret stash as well....

This thread reminds me that the same happened to the last of the Senators.  The police around the country bought up the production run for the last one or two years ;)

the good old senitor there is one on ebay we do like aur gas guzzelers dont we i would rather economise on something els than give up 6 pot comfort

My 2.2 estate was registered 2 April 2004 but the dealer and first owner (AA Clark Ltd) stamped the pre-delivery inspection December 2003.

I saw a 54 Plate 3.2 Thames Valley Police one in service last year. Would not surprise me if they stock piled a few.
